Hi friends 🧡

I have so much to share this time—a book event, progress on book 2, finally getting out of my reading slump, and some romance book recs I think you'll love ✨

A real-life book moment in Stockholm

I almost can't believe this is real and actually happened! Yes, the book event at Lava Kulturhuset in Stockholm did happen, and it was absolutely amazing! Leon had prepared a great interview with me and V.S. Kristine during which we played “Hot or Not”, talked about inspirations to our books, and our best advice to anyone who'd like to get into writing. It was a surreal experience and so much fun 😍

A huge thank you to Lava Kulturhuset for hosting this event, and thank you to every single person who came 💛 Whether you attended, asked questions, bought a book, took photos, or simply stopped by to say hello—it meant the world to me 🥹✨ I left the event feeling incredibly grateful and inspired, and I'd absolutely love to do more events like this one 💫

Book 2 update

In one of my latest newsletters I asked for your opinion on maps of towns and buildings, and whether it was a good idea to get a 3rd map for book 2. I got your responses and a very large majority of you told me to get the map, so guess what….

Thank to your support, I've commissioned the map for Book 2! 🎉🗺️ I'm once again working together with Heather Barefoot at Bardic Branding to create the map. She did such an amazing job on the two maps for book 1, I can't wait to see what she'll create this time.

We reached 50 Amazon reviews! 🎉🥳

You are the absolute BEST! 🥹💜

When I sent my last newsletter, I mentioned my goal of reaching 50 Amazon reviews and We did it! 🎉🎊🥳 I almost can't believe you made this happen!

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to log in and leave a review ❤️

Reviews help so much. They help new readers discover the book and they boost visibility, not to mention, everytime someone tells me they're excited for book 2, it motivates me to go back and keep working on it 📚✨

Book recommendations

This year started out with me being in the reading slump of my life, but I think I've finally reached the other side, and I've got some great recommendations for you!

A horror-loving grad student goes speed dating and ends up trapped in a real-life slasher movie. Between dodging a killer, surviving blackout murders, and developing feelings for one of the other daters, Jamie has a lot more to worry about than finding love.

I don't watch horror movies and I absolutely do not read scary books. With that said, this book was a wind of fresh air, and I loved it! I listened to the audiobook and finished it in 24 hours.

After being heartbroken by her hockey-star boyfriend, Violet swears off dating jocks—only to impulsively start fake dating her ex’s biggest rival, the captain of the Devils hockey team who comes with a heavy reputation of his own.

This is a YA hockey romance and the characters are in High School, which did throw me at times (I went in thinking it would be college hockey), but nonetheless I ended up loving it (as well as the sequel “Grumpy Darling”).

I'll get back to editing book 2 now. If you've got any romance book recs, please let me know! I need more 😃

With bookish love🖤
