Hook, Line, and Sinker
Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey
BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS

From the beginning, everyone sees Hannah as the town sweetheart—the woman everyone wants to protect. Meanwhile, Fox is a fit king crab fishermen and town playboy. Nobody thinks he's serious enough for a relationship. Nobody thinks he's good enough for Hannah. And the thing is... he belies it too 💔
That aspect absolutely wrecked me.
Without spoiling anything important, I've never wanted two romance characters to Not.Have.Sex. as much as I did in this book. My emotions were all over the place. The tension was high, the emotional stakes felt huge, and I was completely invested in both of them 😭
I also loved how vividly the small-town Maine setting came alive. I've never had the chance to visit Maine, but after finishing this book, it's firmly on my bucketlist 🦞
And as someone who's been watching Deadliest Catch for years, seeing some king crab fishermen absolutely made my day 🎣✨
5⭐️ | 3🌶️
King crab fisherman Fox Thornton has a reputation as a sexy, carefree flirt. Everyone knows he's a guaranteed good time--in bed and out--and that's exactly how he prefers it. Until he meets Hannah Bellinger. She's immune to his charm and looks, but she seems to enjoy his... personality? And wants to be friends? Bizarre. But he likes her too much to risk a fling, so platonic pals it is...
My thoughts
Once again I managed to read book 2 before reading book 1... 😂 I hadn't read It Happened One Summer when I picked this one up, and I'm not even sorry.
And wow. This was my first Tessa Bailey book and it definitely won't be my last ❤️
