👋 Hi friends
I’ve just come back from five states, eight cities, and a writing brain completely full of new ideas ✨ I've been running on bookish adrenaline, highway miles, seeing friends I hadn't met in eight years, and I honestly wouldn't have it any other way.
Here's what's been going on in my world ✨
🚗 Five states, eight cities, one very full heart
I just got back from a road trip through Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Eight different cities, so many new faces and places, and more impressions than I can possibly fit into a newsletter 😍
There's something about moving through the world and seeing new places, new skylines, new conversations, that strange mix of feeling untethered and completely yourself. It cracks something open in me creatively. I kept having ideas at every gas station and diner. I have a feeling some of what I saw and felt will find its way into future stories. It always does.
📖 Book 2 is happening 📖
Now that I'm back from my trip I will start going through the first round of beta reader feedback for Book 2 😃This phase of writing is one of my favourites, even when it's humbling. Seeing the story through someone else's eyes for the first time is strange and magical and a little terrifying all at once 💫

📚 Come meet me in person — May 17!
Okay, this is the part I've been most excited to share with you 😍 I will be at LAVA Kulturhuset in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 17 at 14:00 (2:00 PM) for a live book event with the wonderful author V.S. Kristine (whose book Agent in Flames I devoured back in November when it launched).
We'll be doing interviews — talking about writing, romantasy, the indie publishing journey, and everything in between — with time for questions from you. It's free, it's in English, and it's open to teens and adults ✨
Address:
Sergelstorg

💫 Small things that mean the world
If you've been enjoying Promised to the Pyre and want to support what I do, here are a few small ways that make a huge difference for an indie author:
Leave a rating or review on Goodreads or Amazon
Recommend it to a friend who loves romantasy
Like, comment, and share posts on social media
Tag me if you post about it — I read every single one 🥹 (But please don't tag me if you didn't enjoy it 💛)
It might feel small to you, but for an indie author it is everything. It helps real people discover the story, and that is what this is all for.
With bookish love 💛
